Private Hospital

Healthcare - Accra, Ghana

The design team were approached by a established commercial bank in Ghana to develop a prototype private healthcare hospital to service all their staff and the general public in Ghana. This private healthcare model provides operating theatres, consultant rooms, in-patient wards and all necessary ancillary and support spaces required. The design team provided a number of tests fits along in tandem with the patient pathway analysis to develop a bespoke brief within the compact site and building footprint. The design team also proposed an architectural concept which was sensitive and complimentary to the local Ghanaian context.
