Health Services Laboratories (HSL) appointed KB Architects in 2019 to undertake design and delivery of their expanding division, Cervical Screening to service the London region. The design team were tasked to provide a comprehensive brief within the building envelope, connecting to the existing live operations and services within the Halo Building. This conversion involved transforming existing commercial spaces on level 8 into fully functional laboratory spaces which complimented with the existing interiors of the Halo Building. KBA acted as both Architects and Project Managers on this complex project which was executed on time and on budget.
